% 17.10.2016 Crl.M.A.No.15557/2016 (Exemption) Exemption granted, subject to all just exceptions. Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. CRL.M.C. 3717/2016 The present petition has been preferred by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No. 422/2015 under Sections 380/457/511 IPC registered at P.S. Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has amicably settled the matter with the respondents No.2 and a settlement has been arrived at between the parties with the intervention and help of near relatives and friends in order to maintain good relations and peace amongst

the parties.

The respondent No. 2/ complainant is present before the Court today. The IO/ SI Rundheer Kumar from P.S. Fatehpur Beri, Delhi is present in court and has identified the complainant. I have enquired from respondent No.2 whether the matter has been settled with the petitioner without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure and there is no dispute among them and that she has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question. Learned APP for State states that he has no objection if the proceedings are quashed as the dispute between the parties has been amiably settled.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Sections 380/457/511 IPC. In the interest of justice, FIR No.422/2015 under Sections 380/457/511 IPC registered at P.S Fatehpur Beri, New Delhi and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The present petition is disposed of accordingly. I.S.MEHTA, J OCTOBER 17, 2016 j
