By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioners have made the following prayers:- (i) To direct the concerned SHO of PS Malviya Nagar, New Delhi i.e. respondent No.2 to provide security to the petitioner No.1; (ii) To direct the respondent No.3 to investigate the matter property and file report regarding the conduct towards the case; (iii) To direct the respondent No.4 to stop his illegal acts of harassent and threats to the petitioners;

(iv) To direct the respondent No.2 and 3 not to discriminate the petitioners and give privilege to respondent No.4;

(v) To direct the respondent No.2 and 3 to take preventive actions to secure the witness and evidences of case FIR No.618/2016 PS Malviya W.P.(CRL) 2908/2016

Nagar from any possible damage occurred due to the act or omission of respondent No.4 and his associates.

None has appeared on behalf of the petitioners despite passover. 3.

Even notice to the respondent No.4 could not be issued for want of process fee.

Learned ASC for the State has today placed on record copy of the order dated 7th September, 2017 passed in Crl.M.C.3217/2017 by the coordinate Bench of this Court whereby case FIR No.618/2016 under Sections 354(D)/506/323 IPC registered at PS Malviya Nagar and proceedings pursuant thereto have been quashed. 5.

It appears that due to this reason the petitioners are not interested in pursuing this writ petition.

The petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
