Petitioner impugns judgment dated 08.09.2016, whereby appeal of the petitioner, impugning judgment of conviction and order on sentence dated 06.10.2015, was dismissed.

Petitioner was convicted of an offence under Section 138 Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 9 months and to pay a fine of Rs.1,60,000/- and in default to undergo further imprisonment of three months.

None appears for the petitioner.

None was present on 09.10.2018 and 30.04.2019.

Nominal roll of the petitioner indicates that the petitioner has CRL.REV.P. 665/2016

completed his substantive sentence on 08.05.2017 and in-default sentence on 08.08.2017 and was subsequently released on 08.08.2017. 5.

Since none appears for the petitioner, petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
