2. Issue notice. Mr. Harpreet Singh, the learned Senior Standing Counsel accepted notice for the Respondents.
3. The grievance of the Petitioner is that the goods having been imported by Bill of Entry dated 15th May, 2017 and having been detained on 20th May, 2017, no order for provisional release has been passed despite being requested for by the Petitioner.
4. It is submitted by the learned Senior Standing counsel for the Respondent W.P.(C) 4736/2017
that if a time bound direction is issued, it will be complied with by the Respondents.
5. It is directed that the Commissioner of Customs, ICD Patparganj, New Delhi will pass the appropriate provisional release order in accordance with law at the earliest possible time and, in any event, not later than 10 days from today.
6. The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms.
