This is a petition filed under Section 14 read with Section 15 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act') for substitution of the sole arbitrator appointed earlier.

It is stated that by an order dated 03.12.2010 passed by this court in OMP No. 209/2009 Mr Ashok Kumar Jolly, Retired Group General Manager, TCIL was appointed as a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties. It is stated that Mr Jolly has since expired and the vacancy so caused is to be filled up by appointment of another arbitrator. 3.

Accordingly, it is directed that Ms Manmeet Arora, Advocate (Mobile No. 9811333871) be appointed as an Arbitrator. This is subject to the arbitrator making the necessary disclosure and meeting the qualification as required under Section 12 of the Act. The Registry shall communicate a copy of this order to the arbitrator. The parties are at liberty to approach the O.M.P. (T) (COMM.) 72/2016 Page 1 of 2

arbitrator for fixing a schedule of hearings. 4.

The arbitration shall be conducted under the aegis of DIAC and in accordance with its Rules. The parties shall also coordinate with the Coordinator DIAC for holding further sittings. 5.

The petition is disposed of.
