% 03.10.2016 By the present petition the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR No. 422/2016 under Sections 308/394/397/341/34 IPC registered at PS Sangam Vihar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 on the ground that the parties have settled the matter.

Besides not impleading all the parties, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR registered for serious offences punishable under Sections 394/397 IPC. In view of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012 (9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. and (2014) 6 SCC 466 Narinder Singh and Ors.vs. State of Punjab and Anr., the above-mentioned FIR cannot be quashed. Petition is dismissed. MUKTA GUPTA, J.
