O R D E R

% 24.10.2016 Vide this petition under Article 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks parole for a period of three months in order to enable him to file Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court by engaging counsel and to maintain social ties with the society and his family.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that since the petitioner intends to prefer a Special Leave Petition before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in case FIR No.514/2004, under Sections 354/506/34 IPC, registered at Police Station-Mandawali, as such, in order to enable him to engage advocate and have social ties with the family and society, he be granted parole for a period of three months.

Status report perused. Standing Counsel for GNCTD has no objection if the petitioner is released on parole.

The address of the petitioner has been verified by the State as per the verification report.

In view of the parole guidelines 9.6 "to maintain family and social ties" & 9.7 "to pursue the filing of a Special Leave Petition before the Supreme Court of India against a judgment delivered by the High Court convicting or upholding the conviction, as the case may be", the petitioner is ordered to be released on parole for a period of one month effective from the date of his release (i) On furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent concerned.

(ii) He is further directed to report to the concerned SHO, Police Station- Mandawali, Delhi on every Monday at 11:00 am during this period.

(iii) He is also directed not to contact, threaten or coerce the victim or any of her family members during this period or to indulge in any illegal activities.

(iv) He is also directed to furnish his contact number to the SHO concerned.

(v) He is to surrender before the Superintendent Jail after the expiry of period of parole and furnish the details of SLP. Petitioner be informed through the Superintendent Jail. Copy of the order also be sent to SHO, Police Station-Mandawali, Delhi & to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
