CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAJMI WAZIRI

O R D E R

% 26.09.2018 The petitioner impugns the order dated 04.07.2018 framing charges against the petitioner under sections 376/506 IPC. The Court considered the materials on record, in particular, the statement of the complainant, under section 164 Cr.P.C. reiterating her complaint that she was in a consensual relationship with the petitioner primarily on the promise by him that he would marry her. However, subsequently he shunned her on the ground that she belonged to a different social strata as well as a different caste than him. The Trial Court found sufficient reason for framing of charges. This Court is not persuaded otherwise. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
