% 23.10.2017 By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No. 455/2013 under Sections 376/380 IPC registered at police station Safdarjung Enclave, on the complaint of respondent no.2. When the matter was taken up on 30th May, 2017 learned counsel for the petitioner submitted in Court that relief of quashing of FIR is not being pressed.

He submitted that prayer was confined only for directions to the trial court for conclusion of trial as early as possible. Accordingly, respondent no.1 was directed to file status report, which is still awaited.

Petitioner is facing trial for the last four years. Accordingly, present petition is disposed of with the directions to the trial court to expedite the

trial and conclude the same preferably within one year. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
