% 01.03.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 were known to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to the incident and consequently, registration of the FIR No. 447/2012 under Sections 451/354/323/34 IPC at Police Station Malviya Nagar, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. During the investigation, Section 325 IPC was also added. With the intervention of their common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI

Jay Kishan of Police Station Malviya Nagar. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case the FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 to this effect is also on record.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.

447/2012 under Sections 451/354/323/325/34 IPC at Police Station Malviya Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
