W.P.(C) 9333/2016 & C.M. No.37529/2016 Petitioner is stated to be vending from a site adjacent to shop Nos.6 and 7 at CSC, DDA Market, Khanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, New Delhi. It is stated that he carrying this activity since last 15 years. He has filed certain challans to substantiate his submission. These are largely challans of the years from 2007 to 2013. His submission is that he is adequately under Section 3(3) of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.
Per contra, learned counsel for respondent submits that these challans do not create any vested right in favour of the petitioner. Be that as it may, noting the factual matrix, this petition is disposed of with libergy granted to the petitioner to approach the Town Vending Committee (TVC) of respondent no.1 as and when so constituted.
No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
