This is an Application filed on behalf of the Petitioner seeking disposal of the present Petition in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties at the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 22.05.2024. 2.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has been explained the terms and conditions of the Settlement Agreement thoroughly and that the settlement agreement also provides in paragraph 6(h) and (i) that the Petitioner shall file a necessary application before the Bata India Limited Employee Statutory Provident Fund Trust for release of provident fund and pension (if eligible).

The bank draft in the sum of Rs.5 lakhs has been handed over to the Petitioner who is physically present in the Court today. 4.

representative of the Respondent jointly submit that the settlement has been entered into of their own accord and without any coercion or force. The parties agree to be bound by the terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 22.05.2024.

In view of the aforegoing, the Application is allowed in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties.

The Petition is accordingly disposed of.

The date already fixed i.e., 23.10.2024 stands cancelled. 8.
