By this petition petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to find a suitable mach for his daughter who is now of marriageable age. 2.

Status report has been filed verifying the fact that petitioner has three children, one daughter aged 26 years working as Staff Nurse in DDU Hospital, one son aged 24 years preparing for Company Secretary Exams and other son aged 15 years studying in 9th standard. 3.

As per the nominal roll the petitioner has been granted furlough regularly by the competent authority in the years 2015 and 2016 and this year he has been granted furlough for a period of two weeks from 21st February, 2017 to 7th March, 2017. There is no allegation that the petitioner has misused the concession of parole/furlough granted to him. W.P.(CRL) 1734/2017

Considering the verification done and the previous conduct of the petitioner, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM.
