2. The refund application of the Petitioner has been pending since 26th February, 2011 and for various periods since then. With there being no explanation for the delay in processing and paying the refund amount, it is directed that, within four weeks from today, the refund orders will be passed and within a week thereafter the refund amount, together with interest payable thereon, will be deposited into the Petitioner's account directly by the Respondent Department. If there is any non- compliance with this order, it will be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

3. The petition is disposed of.
