The petitioner has filed the present petition with the following prayers:- "(a) Quash the FIR No. 58 dated 15.03.2011 U/s 420/468/471 PS Fatehpur Beri and proceedings emanating therefrom qua the petitioner"

During the course of proceedings, the parties have settled their disputes before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide Settlement dated 12.12.2019.
It is submitted by the counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has paid a sum of Rs.50 lacs to the respondent no.2/complainant as per settlement. 3.
Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, since the
matter has been amicably settled between the parties, no useful purpose will be served by keeping the case pending. It will be nothing but abuse of the process of law.
Consequentially, this petition is allowed, subject to costs of ₹5,000/- to be deposited by the petitioner with the Delhi State Legal Services Authority within two weeks from today. Upon placing on record the proof of deposit of costs within a week thereafter and handing over its copy to the Investigating Officer, FIR No.58/2011, under Sections 420/467/471 IPC registered at Police Station- Fatehpuri Beri, Delhi, and the proceedings emanating therefrom shall stand quashed. 8.
