By this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.224/2018 under Sections 498A/304B/34 IPC registered at PS Najafgarh. 2.
The investigation in the abovenoted FIR was initiated pursuant to a PCR call on 8th August, 2018 recorded vide DD No.9A at PS Najafgarh regarding dead body of a female lying in Najafgarh drain. The deceased was missing since 6th August, 2018 and the family members were looking for her. Statement of the father of the deceased namely, Bhagat Singh was recorded who alleged that his daughter Ms.Sonika had committed suicide on being harassed by her husband and mother-in-law. His grievance was that right after the marriage, he had been sending various dowry articles however the in-laws were still not satisfied BAIL APPLN. 2069/2018

No final opinion as to the cause of death has been given as yet. 4.
Case of the petitioner was that the petitioner has another elder son, who is elder to the husband of the deceased and the petitioner primarily stays there and even on the date of the incident she was present at her elder son's house.

In the status report filed, it has been verified that the house of the elder son is nearby and many a times, presence of the petitioner has been found from her mobile phone at the house of the elder son. 6.
Considering the allegations against the petitioner, she having joined the investigation and charge sheet having been filed without arrest, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned/Trial Court further subject to the condition that in case of change of residential address, the same will be intimated to this Court by way of an affidavit.
