In terms of the order dated 13.03.2024, the chairman of the NDMC has filed an affidavit and the same includes a detailed calculation of the allowances payable to the appellant. A sum of ₹59,61,027/- (Rupees Fifty Nine Lacs Sixty One Thousand and Twenty Seven only) has already been paid to the appellant.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the appellant states, on instructions of the appellant who is present in court, that the matter be closed on the amount as determined to be payable in terms of the application filed by the Chairman of the NDMC.

The learned counsel for the appellant also submits that the appellant would not raise any further grievance with regard to the emoluments or retirement benefits. The appellant is bound down to the said statement. 4.
