After arguments, this appeal is disposed of as not pressed with the consent order that the appellant/defendant will pay to the respondent/plaintiff a sum of Rs.6 lacs alongwith interest at 12% per annum from 16.9.2010 till date within a period of three months from today. On this amount being received by the respondent/plaintiff from the appellant/defendant, all claims of the parties in the present litigation will stand settled and satisfied.

The appeal is accordingly disposed of in terms of the aforesaid consent order.
