% 12.01.2017 Status report has been filed and perused. Petitioner seeks parole on the ground of maintaining social ties with the family members and society and also to look after his mother, who is ailing. Petitioner is in incarceration for about three and a half months. It is trite to say that every convict who is in long incarceration if released on parole at least once in a year to blend himself/herself in society and with his family members it helps in improving his mental and physical well being.

Address of petitioner has been verified.

Petitioner's mother is also ailing and receiving medical treatment at the GTB Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi. As per learned Standing Counsel, these are the age related problems. A perusal of the nominal roll shows that jail conduct of petitioner is satisfactory.

Keeping in mind the totality of circumstances, it is ordered that petitioner be released on parole for a period of one month from the date of his release, subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of Jail Superintendent. During the parole period, petitioner shall report to the SHO PS Bhajan Pura once a week, that is, on Mondays at 10:00 am and give his contact number to the SHO.
