% 13.09.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks direction to respondent no.1 to provide protection to the petitioner at his flat No. 453, Sky Apartment, Plot No. 35, Sector-6, Dwarka, New Delhi.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that during the course of the pendency of this petition, the petitioner has changed his address which is mentioned at page no. 2 of the status report. He further states that now no threat has been extended to the petitioner.
Status report has been filed. As per the status report, after the petitioner shifted to the new flat, the petitioner has not received any threats. However, the telephone numbers of the Division and Beat staff along with the landline number of the Police Post Sector-1, Dwarka has been provided to the petitioner, who can in case of any offence being committed or any
need arises, approach the police officers.
Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State states that as and when the petitioner has any apprehension or threat, necessary protection in accordance with law will be provided to the petitioner through Division and Beat staff and in case of any cognizable offence, action thereon will be taken in accordance with law.
Petition is disposed of.
