% 06.09.2018 Learned counsel for petitioner submits that a complaint case filed by the complainant /petitioner under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 is pending before learned Metropolitan Magistrate for the last more than 7 years.
He further submits that petitioner had closed his evidence in as much as matter was listed for recording of statement under section 311 Cr.P.C. in the year 2017. Matter is not progressing any further.
Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the complaint expeditiously, preferably within one year. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
