W.P. (Crl.) 2910/2016 Petitioner and respondent no.2 are working in Air India. Petitioner lodged an FIR No. 1296/15 at police station Nedumbassery Airport Kochi in the State of Kerala under Section 379 IPC against the respondent no.2 alleging therein that respondent no.2 had stolen his passport. Subsequently, on the complaint of respondent no.2 present FIR 68/2016 under Sections

406/409/120B IPC and 66B of I.T. Act was registered against the petitioner at police station Domestic Airport, Palam, New Delhi. Respondent no.2 has alleged in the present FIR that petitioner had illegally retrieved his air tickets from Air India software data.

It is submitted tht petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes and pursuant thereof FIR No. 1296/15 registered at police station Nedumbassery Airport Kochi, has been permitted to be compounded. Now, petitioner and respondent no.2 have approached this Court for quashing of present FIR in view of the settlement arrived at between them. Keeping in mind the facts noted above and that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties, in the interest of justice, FIR 68/2016 under Sections 406/409/120B IPC and 66B of I.T. Act registered at police station Domestic Airport, Palam, New Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
