% 20.09.2018 Respondent nos.2 to 11 are present in Court and have been identified by ASI Prakash Vir of police station Madhu Vihar. It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 11 are related to each other. It is further submitted that with the intervention of elders in the family, respondent no. 2 (complainant) and respondent nos. 3 to 11 have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Settlement Agreement dated 16th January, 2017 before Mediation Cell, CAW, Nanakpura, Delhi. Respondent nos. 2 to 11 say that they have no objection in case FIR no. 371/2016 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at Police Station Madhu Vihar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondents voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
