O R D E R

% 21.10.2016 Petitioner is the cousin of respondent no. 2. Present FIR No.

323/2016 under Sections 509 IPC was registered at Police Station New Ashok Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2. Respondent no. 2 alleged in the FIR that she had received vulgar messages from mobile phone number 7838793505 on 25th May, 2016. During the investigation, it was revealed that mobile phone number is of petitioner. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes with the intervention of their family members. In view of the settlement, respondent

no. 2, who is present in Court, submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, who are related to each other, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 323/2016 under Sections 509 IPC registered at Police Station New Ashok Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
