% 23.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.76/09 under sections 420/467/468/471/120B IPC registered at police station Kingsway Camp may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court along with counsel and has been identified by SI Jitender of police station Model Town. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 says that he has no objection in case present FIR is quashed against the petitioner. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest

of justice, FIR No.76/09 under sections 420/467/468/471/120B IPC registered at police station Kingsway Camp and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, however, subject to petitioner depositing costs of `25,000/- with Delhi High Court Bar Association Lawyers' Social Security & Welfare Fund, New Delhi. Receipt, evidencing deposit of costs, be handed over to the Investigating Officer.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
