% 30.05.2017 In this petition, mandamus is sought to respondent to convert the subject flat from leasehold to freehold. Petitioner's counsel points out that petitioner has already made a representation to respondent on 30th December, 2016 seeking conversion of the subject flat from leasehold to freehold, but till date no response has been received. Upon notice, learned counsel for respondent submits that if such a representation is received, the same would be decided within six weeks, if not already done.

In view of aforesaid, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent to decide petitioner's representation of 30th December, 2016 by passing a speaking order within six weeks, if not already decided and the fate of petitioner's representation be made known to petitioner within two weeks thereafter to enable her to avail of the remedies as available in W.P.(C) 5038/2017

law, if need be. In case the conversion is to be carried out, the same be done expeditiously.
