..... Petitioners Through:

versus RAJYA SABHA SECRETARIAT & ANR ..... Respondents Through:
Ms. Zubeda Begum and Ms. Sana Ansari, Advs. for R1 and R2.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V. KAMESWAR RAO
O R D E R
% 17.05.2017 CM No.18602/2017 This is an application filed by the petitioner nos. 1, 2 and 7 with the following prayers:
"It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to:
(i) Allow the petitioners Nos. 1, 2 and 7 to withdraw the writ petition and delete their names from the array of memo of parties, in the interest of justice;
(ii) Pass such other and further order / direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."
I may note that similar application was filed by petitioner nos. 3 to 6 being CM. No. 16402/2017 with a prayer to withdraw themselves from the petition. The said application was allowed and the counsel for the respondents was directed to file amended memo of parties. The same has
been filed inasmuch as only three petitioners were to continue in the petition. Since this application is also on behalf of the balance three petitioners, in effect their prayer is for withdrawing the writ petition. The petitioners are allowed to withdraw the petition. The application is allowed as disposed of.
Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. V. KAMESWAR RAO, J MAY 17, 2017/jg
