% 13.03.2018 By this petition, petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No.271/2016 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 registered at police station Binda Pur on the ground that matter has been compromised with the respondent no.2.

Counsel for the respondent no.2 submits that respondent no.2 has no objection in case FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed as compromise has indeed been arrived at, inasmuch as, dues have been paid by the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the

consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
