CRL.M.C. 2341/2017 & CRL.M.A.9498/2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.158/2015, under Sections 406/409/467/468/471 IPC, registered at Police Station-EOW, Mandir Marg, New Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present matter pertains to family dispute regarding transfer of shares of the family and due to some misunderstanding arisen between the parties, the aforesaid FIR was

registered. Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and the friends intervened and the matter has been amicably settled between the parties vide compromise deed dated 15.05.2017. He further submits that the parties have acted upon the terms of settlement. He further submits that to have better relationship between the parties in near future, the present FIR, which is coming as a hurdle in their way, may be quashed.

Mr.Sanjay Seth, Managing Director of respondent No.2/complainant, M/s. Laffans India Pvt. Ltd. is present and submits that he has been authorized by the respondent No.2/complainant to represent on its behalf. Mr.Sanjay Seth has been identified by the Investigating Officer Inspector Nitin Kumar, EOW. Mr.Sanjay Seth submits that the matter pertains to family dispute. He further submits that the matter has been amicably settled with the petitioners vide compromise deed dated 15.05.2017. He further submits that the settlement/compromise has taken place voluntarily, without any force, pressure or coercion. He submits that he has no objection if the FIR in question is quashed.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, since the matter pertains to family dispute which has been amicably settled between the parties, to promote peace in the family and for maintaining good relationship between the parties, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR and all its subsequent proceedings. Consequently, FIR No.158/2015, under Sections 406/409/467/468/471 IPC, registered at Police Station-EOW, Mandir Marg, New Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. Parties to remain bound by the terms of settlement dated 15.05.2017. The present petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. All
