The petitioner has filed the present petition impugning the suspension letter dated 16.07.2018 passed by the Additional Commissioner of Police, Licensing Unit. The said order has been passed in terms of The Regulations for Licensing and Controlling Places of Public Amusement (other than Cinemas) and Performance for Public Amusement, 1980. 2.

Mr Gautam Narayn, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents points out that the petitioner has a remedy by way of a statutory appeal against the impugned order in terms of Regulation 22 of the aforesaid Regulations.
