W.P.(C) 9331/2016 Petitioner seeks an order to the effect that the death certificate of the deceased daughter Karthika K.B. should be given to him by the Competent Authority.

On advance notice, the respondent has put in appearance. Her submission is that since the death of the deceased has not been registered within one year from the date of occurrence, the respondent will not be in a position to handover that document to the petitioner. Accordingly on an appropriate application being made by the

petitioner to the SDM he will answer this submission of the petitioner. The SDM will answer this prayer within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of the application. Petition disposed of.
