% 26.04.2017 This application for release of the applicant on anticipatory bail was moved in October 2016. While issuing notice by order dated 04.10.2016, interim protection was granted and the parties were referred to Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. The process of mediation has resulted in settlement agreement being recorded on 28.02.2017 which has come on record. In terms of the said settlement agreement, the parties have, inter alia, agreed to proceed for divorce by mutual consent and also move an appropriate petition for having the proceedings arising out of the FIR quashed. In the meantime, the counsel for the complainant present today submits no objection to the prayer for release on anticipatory bail as is BAIL APPLN. 2057/2016
the subject matter of the present proceedings to be granted. The application is allowed. It is directed that in the event of he being arrested during the investigation in case FIR no.432/16 under Section 498A/420/406/377/34 IPC of police station Model Town, the applicant Mayank Bansal shall be released on bail on he furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety in like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer on the condition that he would join investigation as and when called upon to do so. The application is disposed of.
