% 28.08.2017 On the last date of hearing, separate statement of the parties were recorded.

Counsel for petitioners has undertaken to make balance payment of Rs.11,00,000/- (Rupees Eleven Lakh only) and to hand over an Insurance Bond to the respondent Nos. 2 & 3.

Today, counsel for petitioners has given the receipt of payment of Rs.11,00,000/- and original Insurance Bond to counsel for respondent Nos. 2 & 3 in the court.

In view of the fact that the parties have amicably resolved their differences voluntarily and of their own free will and without any coercion, pressure, and no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the CRL.M.C. 2406/2017

proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question. Consequently, FIR No. 164/2016 under Sections 323/341/354-B/34 IPC registered at police station-Model Town, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed. The petition is disposed of.
