Vide the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction to respondent No. 1/the appellant authority to finally decide and dispose of the appeal dated 17.01.2018 preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 06.12.2017 passed by the respondent No. 2/the disciplinary authority in a time bound manner. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents No. 1 and 2 has assured this court that the appeal dated 17.01.2018 filed by the petitioner shall be disposed of finally within a period of four weeks from today.

In view of above, I hereby direct the respondents No. 1 and 2 to

decide the appeal dated 17.01.2018 preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 06.12.2017 passed by the respondent No. 2/the disciplinary authority within a period of four weeks from today. 4.

With the above directions, this writ petition is accordingly, disposed of.
