13.08.2015 By this order, we will dispose of two separate petitions By:AMULYA

was preferred by the respective petitioners. W.P. (Crl.) No. 1232/2015 preferred by Ms.Parvinder Kaur@Parveen Khan and her husband Yahya Khan seeking direction to direct the respondent Nos.l to 5 to provide the necessary police protection as they were receiving threats from the family members of the petitioner No.l after they got married on 9 April, 2015. In the other petition i.e. WP (Crl.) No.l 178/2015 filed by Mr.Harmeet Singh who is the father of Parvinder Kaur, prayer was made for direction to the police to produce his daughter before the Court. Detailed order was passed by this Court on the last date in both the said petitions.

Today when this matter is taken up, Mr.Harmeet Singh, petitioner in WP (Crl.) No. 1178/2015 made a fervent plea to the Court to allow him to at least meet his daughter i.e. Parvinder Kaur. Parvinder Kaur@Parveen Khan was although reluctant initially to meet her father but ultimately she was persuaded to meet her father. She insisted that she will meet her father only in the presence of the Court. Meeting of Parvinder Kaur@Parveen Khan with her father was accordingly allowed in the Court itself in camera proceedings. Even after having met her father, Parvinder Kaur@Parveen Khan has

reiterated her position of going back to her matrimonial home with her husband Mr.Yahya Khan who is present in Court. Mr.Yahya Khan i.e. petitioner No.2 in WP (Crl.) No. 1232/2015 also states that he is well placed in his life and will take complete care of his wife Parvinder Kaur@Parveen Khan and at no stage will he give any occasion to his wife to make any complaint against him or his family members.

Mr.Harmeet Singh, petitioner in WP (Crl) No. 1178/2015 has also reconciled to the said position and stated that he is happy after having met his daughter.

In the light of the above, nothing survives in these petitions. The present petitions are, accordingly, disposed of. The directions given by this Court in the order dated 3'^'' July, 2015 shall remain operative.
