By the present application, petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in FIR No. 629/2016 under Sections 323/506/452 IPC registered at Police Station Begum Pur, on the complaint of respondent no. 2, namely, Meenu Handa. It is submitted that FIR has been registered after 13 days of the incident. Complainant had taken a loan of `5,00,000/- from the petitioner (photocopy

of the receipt placed on record). In order to avoid payment of loan amount, complainant has falsely implicated the petitioner. It is submitted that complainant has alleged in the FIR that petitioner was armed with a gun and had beaten her husband black and blue, but no MLC is there. Keeping in mind the totality of circumstances, it is ordered that in case of arrest, petitioner be released on anticipatory bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Investigation Officer/Arresting Officer/SHO concerned. Petitioner shall, however, cooperate in the investigation and appear before the Investigating Officer as and when he is called upon to do so. Bail application is disposed of in the above terms.
