% 05.10.2016 Crl. M.A. No. 15751/2016 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. W.P.(CRL) 2952/2016 Petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matters resulting in registration of the present FIR No. 164/2016 under Sections 452/323/380/427/506/34 IPC at Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur against the petitioner, on the complaint of respondent no. 2. In the quarrel, respondent nos. 2 and 3 sustained minor injuries.

Being neighbours, petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have

settled their disputes amicably.

A written settlement has been executed between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 on 17th August, 2016. As regards respondent no. 3 is concerned, he has filed his affidavit. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court and submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that quarrel took place between the neighbours on some trivial matter, wherein respondent nos. 2 and 3 sustained minor injuries and they have settled their disputes in order to maintain harmonious relation in future and do not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No. 164/2016 under Sections 452/323/380/427/506/34 IPC at Police Station Pul Prahlad Pur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
