Indisputably, there are authorities such as SHO, DCP and Commissioner of Police who are competent to deal with the transfer of investigation from one agency to another.

In view of the same, the counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition, with the liberty to move to the competent authority to take proper action.

The present petition is accordingly disposed of. Dasti.
