% 26.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Court, New Delhi, therefore, FIR No. 557/2015 under Sections 354-D/506(II)/509 IPC registered at police station Malviya Nagar, may be quashed. It is noted that petitioner and respondent no.2 were known to each other as is apparent from the proceedings of the Mediation Centre dated 6th May, 2017. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Suraj, P.S. Malviya Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and is not
willing to pursue the FIR any further.
Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 and the fact that respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 557/2015 under Sections 354/354-D/506/509 IPC registered at police station Malviya Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
