Petitioner no. 3 is the father, petitioner nos. 1 and 4 are sisters, petitioner no. 2 is the brother-in-law and petitioner no. 5 is the maternal uncle of the respondent
no. 2.
On the complaint of respondent no. 2, present FIR No. 765/2016 under Sections 323/341/354(B)/506/509/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden against the petitioners. Petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their family members and common friends. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue this FIR any further.
She is present in Court and has been identified by SI Mohinder Singh, P.S. Rajouri Garden.
Keeping in mind that disputes arose between the family members on some trivial matter, which triggered in filing of the present FIR and that they have settled their disputes, inasmuch as respondent no. 2 does not wish to pursue the matter any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 765/2016 under Sections 323/341/354(B)/506/509/34 IPC registered at Police Station Rajouri Garden, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
