O R D E R

% 23.01.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner has sought setting aside of the order dated 6.4.2015 of the learned ASJ, Saket Court in FIR No.48/2015, under Sections 498A/406/34 Indian Penal Code, 1860, Police Station Jamia Nagar whereby anticipatory bail had been granted to the respondent No.3.

During the course of the proceedings vide directions dated 15.3.2016, the parties were directed to appear before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre and placed on record is the settlement deed dated 18.5.2016 of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and the respondent No.3 herein. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner and the respondent No.3 that in terms of the settlement dated 18.5.2016 a

sum of Rs.5,00,000/- has since been paid by the respondent No.3 to the petitioner and that it has been submitted further on behalf of either side that in terms of the said settlement an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- in the form of an FDR in the name of the minor child, namely, Baby Aiza Ahmed for the period till she attains majority shall be paid at the time of quashing of the FIR.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition in view of the said settlement. The petition is thus dismissed as withdrawn, as prayed.
