1. Learned counsel for the Respondent No.1 school, on instructions, states that at a onetime measure on compassionate basis, they are prepared to pay Rs. 1 lakh as a lumpsum compensation to the Appellant in lieu of all her claims.

2. This being a reasonable offer is accepted by the counsel for the Petitioner, again on instructions.

3. The Court directs that the offered sum of Rs. 1 lakh will be paid by the Respondent No.1 school to the Appellant by way of a demand draft in her name within a period of six weeks from today. It is made clear that this lumpsum payment is towards all claims that the Appellant may have against the respondent No.1 school. Further, this payment will not be treated as a

precedent.

4. The appeal is disposed of in the above terms. S.MURALIDHAR, J.
