% 22.02.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner had prayed for a direction to the respondent nos. 2 & 3 to disburse the GATE scholarship in favour of the petitioner alongwith interest. Today, learned counsel for the respondent no.2 submits that though the petitioner is entitled to receive the scholarship amount for four semesters, the respondent no.2 has presently remitted an amount to respondent no.3 of Rs.64,87,663/- towards the scholarship amount of the petitioner and other student for the first and second semester. Ms. Ms.Rajdipa Behura, learned counsel for respondent no.3 submits that upon receipt of the said amount from respondent no.2,

respondent no.3 has already credited the proportionate sum of Rs.92,375/- in the account of the petitioner towards the scholarship amount of first and second semester. She further submits that as and when the balance amount is received by the institute, the same will be credited to the account of the petitioner.

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the respondents as also the fact that the payment of scholarship amount towards the first and second semester already stands credited to the petitioner's account, the petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents to remit the scholarship amount towards the third and fourth semester, to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.
