% 10.08.2017 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India essentially sought a direction to the official respondents to produce the minor victim, Ms. 'X', the daughter of the petitioner herein, before this Court.

The minor victim, Ms. 'X' has been produced in the Court. It is stated on behalf of the official respondents that the said victim was recovered from Haridwar on 14th July, 2017, by a team of the Delhi Police and was produced before the Child Welfare Committee (hereinafter referred to as 'CWC'). The CWC has directed for Ms. 'X' to be looked after and kept in the Children's Home, Kasturba Gandhi Trust, Bakhtawarpur, Delhi. W.P.(CRL) 1756/2017

We have interacted with the minor victim, Ms. 'X' and perused the statement given by her to the concerned Metropolitan Magistrate under the provisions of Section 164 Cr.P.C, 1973.

In view of the foregoing, Mr. Vikas Padora, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition. The petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn and disposed off, whilst reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) in this behalf, if so advised.
