O R D E R

% 06.07.2017 Learned counsel for the respondents point out that affiliation has been granted to the petitioners and this petition has now become infructuous. The fact that affiliation has been granted to the petitioners is admitted.

Learned counsel for the petitioners, however, point out that some of the institutes are located in rural areas and the necessary certificates from the District Collector / Office of the Directorate, Town Planning have yet to be obtained. Learned counsel for the respondents point out that a timeline of one year has been granted to all the petitioners and this timeline has to commence from the date of their affiliation. The petitioners / parties were supposed to obtain the necessary certificates (for the rural areas) from the District Collector /

Office of the Directorate, Town Planning. Qua those institutes which are situated in a city / corporation / municipality, a physical plan like Master Plan, Development Plan, Regional Plan, Peripheral Plan, Zonal Plan prepared by the State as also the occupancy certificate have to be obtained and furnished to the competent authorities i.e., to the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage, point out that most of the affiliations had been granted to the petitioners sometime in December 2016; there are some affiliations which had been granted in October 2016; prayer is that all persons should be granted and extended the timeline upto 15.12.2017 to procure their necessary documentation and submit it to the respondents. This permission is granted to the petitioners. Accordingly, subject to the criteria being fulfilled by the petitioners as contained in the Certificate format (attached alongwith O.M. dated 30.08.2016), the case of the petitioners will be processed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
