Allowed, subject to just exceptions.

These are two petitions whereby extension of time is sought by the counsel for the petitioner.

Issue notice. Mr. Vats accepts notice on behalf of the respondent, i.e. New Delhi Municipal Council.

Learned counsel says that he does not wish to file a reply as the prayer made in the captioned petitions seeking extension of time is not opposed. 5.

I am informed that a common Arbitrator was appointed in respect of the captioned matters.

These matters are numbered as Arbitration Case No. 31/2017 and Arbitration Case No. 32/2017 by the learned Arbitrator. 7.

In both cases, the learned Arbitrator entered upon reference on 15.3.2017.

I am further informed by counsel for the parties that upon expiry of the statutory period of twelve (12) months, parties agreed to the extension of time by six (6) months.

Learned counsel for the parties say that in both the matters the evidence is complete and that oral submissions have to be advanced. 10.

In these circumstances, both the counsel pray that time for rendering and publishing the award be extended till 30.12.2018. 11.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am inclined to grant the prayer as sought for by both the parties. 12.

Accordingly, time for rendering and publishing the award in the captioned matters is extended till 31.12.2018. 13.
