Learned counsel for the LAC submits that as per Counter Affidavit, possession of the subject land has been taken by the DDA and the compensation was duly deposited with the Reference Court under Section 30-31 of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 on 25.09.1962. He further submits that as per his information, the petitioner has expired. Since, none is present on behalf of the petitioner and rejoinder has also not been filed, the present writ petition is dismissed for non appearance as well as non prosecution.
