All the aforesaid writ petitions were disposed of vide common order dated 7th August, 2024, directing that the amounts deducted by the respondent-MCD towards service tax be refunded to the petitioners. 2.
The grievance of the petitioners is that while the service tax amount deducted till the filing of the writ petition was refunded to the petitioner, the amounts due after filing of the present writ petitions have not been refunded. 3.
Status reports have been filed on behalf of respondent-MCD. 4.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent in W.P.(C) 9445/2016 and W.P.(C) 9448/2016 seeks an accommodation. 5.
List on 30th April, 2026.

In the meanwhile, it is directed that the representative of the petitioners shall appear before the concerned Executive Engineers on 24th March, 2026 at 3:00 PM, in order to reconcile the amounts of service tax that have been deducted by the respondent-MCD. 6.1 MCD shall file statement of account showing the amounts that have been deducted towards service tax and the amounts that have been paid to the petitioners, within four weeks from today.
