% 28.01.2016 The Present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "a) To issue a writ of mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to direct the Respondent no.1 to cancel the registration of the Respondent no.2 under section 10 read with section 6 of Trade Unions Act 1926 as it being a dysfunctional body without any legal mandate and for acting in complete contravention of various provisions the Trade Unions Act 1926 and also of its own constitution.

b) Pass such other or further order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the present case."

A perusal of the paper book reveals that the representation filed by the petitioner dated 20th April, 2015 has not been disposed of by

the respondent no.1.

Consequently, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.1 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 20th April, 2015 within a period of six months. It is however clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the controversy.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition and the application are disposed of.
