% 27.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 (husband) and respondent no.2 (wife) have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 19th April, 2017 and have started living together since then.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Dhananjay Kumar of Police Station Tilak Marg. She admits having settled the matter with the petitioner no.1. She submits that she has been living with the petitioner no.1 happily from 19th April, 2017, therefore, is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together
after ironing out their differences that the fact that respondent no.2 does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 45/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Tilak Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
